Message: Boy, you got a deal on that that MSD-6A. I've been trying to snag one on eBay, and haven't won an auction yet!
MSD folks told me to get the MSD-8207 coil and a set of their universal wires (p/n 32969, I think) - you have to cut them and put the ends on yourself. I almost bought a set of Mopar Performance wires, but then learned that they were only 7.5mm wires. Also, this stuff should be mounted AWAY from the pcm.
He claimed that you don't need anything special for the cap and rotor, but I'd go with what you've seen here where people get the brass stuff from NAPA.

I have a Jacobs Pro Street set-up on my '94
Dakota and have had no problems with it. It
is a multiple spark discharge type of ignition
with an adjustable rev limiter, anti-theft,
and a few other features. There was a notice-
able improvement in power with it.

Message: Im running the MSD6A with MSD 8.5 wires, the only problem with the wires is the tight fit on the distributor caps since the terminal boots are so large. Also I have to change my Borg Warner cap every 5-7000 miles as the MSD really fowls it up with the extra voltage.

Message: You can run the stock wires with the Box but
if you upgrade the coil you will need better wires
Just get the MDS 8.5 super conductor wires for the
V8 and they will fit perfict you just have 2 wires
left over and no screwing around with the ends.
about $60

Message: The cap and rotor is around $15 at Napa.
2 screws to remove the cap just locate the #1 and
change the wires 1 at a time in the right order
if you do pull them all off the order is clockwise
165432
6 5
4 3
2 1
FAN
the rotor just pull up and off, and line up the
new one and push down on they only go 1 way you
will see a little tab to line up
