Subject: MSD coils IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone use the MSD 8228 coil ?? It mount & looks just like the stock one so it seems like it might be a good choice. Any input??

The only thing..it is not just a bolt and go on late model Daks..
the coil has round connectors..and the plug is sguare adapter..
I installed my own connectors into the coil,with pig tails.and epoxied them into the coil.
then just sliced the wires into the pig tails..
5 min job..
Seems to work good...
I need to get better wires now..

Message: I have been running the SS Blaster for 20,000
miles now with no probs. and the 6a box
I just took a peice of flat heavy sheet metal and
mounted the coil to it and bolted it in the stock
location on my truck right below the Alt
The coil comes with little rubber mounting feet
and the screws
