Message: ok how many mods does it take before a V6 will put out as much rwhp as a 4.7 or 5.2 V8?? can it be done without a supercharger or other expensive/complicated mods?
would airaid, jet 2(w/180 tstat), gibson catback, jba headers, msd ignition amp and modified tb be anywhere close or do u need a lot more then that?

Message: But where the useable range of HP and TQ is what you need to look at.
It's possible...but may wind up running close to the $3200 anyway.
Here's the basics on how:
Cold Air Intake = $150-$250
Modified Throttle Body = $200-$400
Headers = $300-$450
Exhaust = $50-$300
Head Work = $150-$500
Cam = $250-280
Ring and Pinion = $250
Ignition System = $150-$300
That doesn't include labor or the basic additions (Cap/Rotor/Plugs/Wires/T'Stat).
$1500 - $2730 depending on brand and options.

Message: yeah but bernd u need the first 4 parts on the list just to supercharge it. so sc is 3200 plus intake, exhaust, tb and headers... and i dont think i can afford it. do u still dislike jet 2 bernd? cause people are saying that they're good for V6's, whats the deal with jet 2?
