I orderd a under drive crank pulley from v8 performance. The web site says I may have to use a shorter belt. Have any of you guys or gals used this pulley ? and what belt did you use ?

is it better to use a single crank pulley or one of the 2 or 3 piece sets?

I ordered a set of headers & a 180 t-stat at the same time. My wallet said it was better to just get the single pulley.

you do have to use a shorter belt. the pully is about 1" smaller. so yes a shorter belt is needed. and the point of the two peice sets is for the alternator. so you don;t under drive it. however i have a 00 dak and i've had no problems with the one pully. which i'm gonna be selling soon...... have to put the stock one back on. so if you want it speak up

i forget the size on the belt. shoud come witha paper with a part number. actualyl here it is..... Gates K060945 or equivalent with part #504500. but it should have a paper that says what belt to use. only comes in 7rib not 8 but thats not a big deal. Daddio: i paid $60 shipped for mine. had it for bout a year. $40 shipped??? let me know BlueDodge55@comcast.net
