I had to rep[lace my cat. converter twice ( 43,000 miles) on my V-6 1999. Anybody else hear of bad Catalytic converters?

I hope you did not pay for these converters they
are supose to have a 8 year 80,000 mile
replacement on them.
They do go bad but that sounds a little
unreasonable on converter life
