Subject: Engine won't idle IP: Logged
Message: I have a '99 4x4 sport, 3.9 that has decided to not run. Engine barely turns over and when it does start, it will not run at idle. Just dies. It will run when I am giving it gas, but as soon as I let up it dies. I haven't had a chance to really check things out under the hood yet. I'm guessing electrical. The battery is fine Is there a voltage regulator on these things or are they built into the alternator? Any thoughts?

Message: First check your PCV valve on the pass side valve
cover.
Check your IAC back of TB there is a hole behind
the 2 bores you can look down and see if the
valve moves away from the seat in the body
Turn the key on and off 3 times than on and see if
you get any codes.
It could be a lot of things but start with the easy stuff
