Subject: 95 v6 for sale IP: Logged
Message: Hey all,
I've had my old 3.9 in the back of my garage for about a year(bagged and clean) because I wasn't sure how my 5.2 would last. I'm happy with it now and want to get rid of the old 6'er. I also have the PCM, wiring harness, and maybe a few injectors that came from my truck. Its a 95 4x2 sport auto.
If anybody is interested in these please send me an email geoff_fahl_1@yahoo.com
Id like to sell them together but I will part out if necessary. I live in Racine, WI 53406
so you can figure shipping / transportation.
thanks again,
Geoff

Message: I'd like $500 for the motor, and $100 for each the pcm and harness.
There were no problems with the engine, I just needed more torque for towing. I'm not sure of the milage on the motor at the moment, but I do have it on record at home. When I bought the truck (used, in 98 I believe) The crank bolt hole was stripped out. Its only the first 1/2 inch or so, could easily be remedied with a longer bolt.
The engine was well cared for, oil changes were done at 3k, I only went over twice at 3005 and 3015. Didn't leak on me and made good power for a six.
I go to school in White Water zip code 53190 if thats any closer to you. I can have pictures of it for you on monday if you want

Message: I would like to know the mileage if you could find
it.
I can get a 360 or 318 with the computer from the
local salvage yard for $350 to $700 depending on
the milage and condition.
I would not need the comp or wire harnas, I am
kind of looking for a V6 mag for my 4.0 stroker
crank I have hidding in the shop. You see I caught
a lot of hell after spending over $6000 on my 95.
she don't know I plan on building another truck

Message: I bought the truck on 3/2/99 with 50,000 on it. I pulled the motor at 82,567. I do not have any documentation of it, but the motor looked new when I bought the truck. There were new motor mount bolts on it and marks on the t/b and fuel rail bolts so I suspect a long block was put in.
So as I said, the truck has 82,000 and the motor probably less than that but again nothing is documented.
Where are you located? I may be willing to meet you half way with the engine

Message: The temp sensors went on my 318, but I may have some more laying around the garage. I painted the exhaust manifolds, oil pan, and valve covers to keep it from rusting. The water pump pulley was a bit marred when I tried to remove the fan clutch (unsuccessfully.) I hope this pic comes through.
