Will an Air Intake kit keep my truck from passing the visual and the actual smog inspection? I heared that a smog tech wont even do the test if they see a intake kit, is this true?

If its a K&N, it has a smog exempt sticker that comes with it. Make sure that sticker is visable. (under the hood or on the radiator support)

As Tim said be sure you put the sticker on.
And no a cold air setup will not effect the
emisions and almost all are 50 state legal
That's almost like saying if you use a better
quality filter its illegal, Its Not
Mopar even sells cold air setups for there trucks
and I beleave they are made for mopar by K&N
