 Subject: 02 Dakota/Rough Idle

Hello to all, I have an 02 Dak 4X4 V-6 SXT that has a real bad rough idle and shake. It is worse when cold but still rough when warm. The dealer has changed plugs,cap, rotor and wires. Last time in they changed the coolant temp sensor but it has not helped. It has 16,950 miles on it and they want me to spring for an injector and throttle body cleaning. Any ideas? Fuel pressure,bad MAP or TPS? Thanks!

Why should you have to pay for it on a truck that
is under warrantee.

Tell them you want new injectors its a new truck
what is wrong with them you could have a bad one
16,000 miles you should not have pluged injectors
What I would do is pull the plugs and see which
cyl is not running right. they should be tan color
if white or black on one that's the bad cyl
