i have a 1993 dakota and the oil pressure is very high most of the time. 2 clamps to hold the exaust system came off and the cat converter's heat cover came off. oil is leaaking forom the pcv valve and falling onto the manifold and smoking.

Replace the rubber gasket around the PCV valve and the pcv itself.... see if thats the prob... I dont see why it would leak out of there otherwise.

2 of the bolts for the valve cover are snapped and the valve cover gasket has a little gash in it. i htink if i change the boldts and the gasket and replace the oil the leak wil be fine and the high pressure will be fixed too.
