and a nice cold air intake like the K&N FIPK
Microchips Super Tuner

If you ever need to take the truck in for warantee
work you can reinstall your factory settings and
than go back.
These things will not void warantee

Message: Hey there guys you listed a bunch of diffrent things like plugs, wires, cap & rotor, thermostat I was wondering are theses high performane? Are these tune up parts going to make that big a diffrence? I know the K&N cold air intake and superchips should make a diffrence but if you buy quality tune up parts for youe engine it should run about the same..
I tell you guys they are giving theses trucks away right now, I ended getting 7 grand off the price.. Well thanks guys for your help Cya Slick

Message: The cap rotor and plugs makes the engine run/idle smoother .They are so inexpensive that even though they won't help you spin the tires? ,they are worth it as they will help the engine burn the fuel better.I don't know of anyone whose put in the new cap/rotor and felt it wasn't a good choice. The Thermostat is one I will wait to do,the position of it on my '03 looks like it would be a b*tch to change.

Message: Tune up parts, yes
It don't make a lot of sense to replace all this
stuff on a new truck, The brass cap will transfer
a little more voltage but that would not make very
much diff for the average vehicle.
I waited untill my truck was off warantee before
I started doing mods that the dealer would have
probs with.
You can get away with a V8 body, but I would
invest the $200 and get a new body from chrysler
if you put a old used unit on there they would
notice it right away on a new truck. Thats what
I did than I went with an aftermarket body

Message: I have an '03 and the new cap/rotor was a noticeable improvement.I was at the dealer asking how to remove the old air filter box(btw its remove one nut and pull up,the nut on the bottom isn't a nut.) and I was mentioning about putting a V8 throttlebody on and inquiring about Warranty, and he said it wouldn't have any effect on the warranty.I was afraid to ask about 1.7RRs ,but that my next mod and unless they pull covers they won't see them anyway.
