Subject: diff fluid change IP: Logged
Message: I'm about to replace the fluid in the differential. Any tips on sealing the cover or how much torque to tighten the bolts with?????

Message: Use a fluid evacuation pump, it is much easier and faster.
Just take off the rubber plug, route the end of the hose to the bottom of the diff. and start pulling out the fluid. No fuss no muss.

Message: You can get a new gasket for the rear only on the
4WD they use ATV Silicon sealer.
If you did not tear the gasket you can whipe the
surfaces clean and reuse the old gasket with the
sealer,
I use black it,s not as noticeable as blue
the 8.25" holds just under 2 qts
