 Subject: clogged injector

how would you go about finding out if there is a clogged fuel injector. i have an intermittant miss in my engine. the whole thing is new. ignition. wires, plugs, cap, rotor, engine, transmission. the only thing i can think of is a plugged injector. how do you clean them or should i just replace them with the fms #19 ones.

The best way is to pull the injectors out and flow test them, a factory repair manual will have the procedure. It will be pretty easy to see which one is screwed up because it won't spray right, or i might just sit there and dribble. There's also the posibility that one is internally shorted. If you find a clogged one you can have it sent out and professionally cleaned. If you have gone through everything and your positive it's an injector problem it's easier just to replace them all, if one is bad the others usually aren't too far behind.
