Subject: rough idle at start IP: Logged
Message: My dak..runs rough for a few seconds at first start of the day..But it mellows out after a few seconds...
I cleaned my TB.and my IAC selionoid..It was Carbonized bad..
Truck only had 27K on it???

Message: Mine does too. I think it is a common thing on the 3.9's and I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Message: Could be a lot of things but most likely a small
leak on the belly pan gasket on the bottom of
the manifold.
As soon as a little oil splash's on it its fine
because the oil close's off the tiny leak and
it will run good
You need to pull the manifold to fix it but its
not worth the trouble unless it gets real bad
Check your plugs, wires, cap and rotor.

Message: I like to believe that is is just the nature of the beast. My sister drove my truck the other day and told me that it was sputtering when it starts up, it has gotten to the point that i dont even realise that it is doing it anymore.
