Subject: IAT mod IP: Logged
Message: I don't know why everyone makes such a big deal about the IAT mod. I did it this past weekend and it was very easy to do. I was surprised at the difference it made too! It didn't seem to hurt my mileage at all and there is definately a notice of power. I located mine on the front of the intake tube to get the ram air effect and it works great. I would recommend this mod to anyone. So, for all you skeptics, my advice is just try it.
I can answer some questions if anyone is STILL unsure.

Message: i just went to my local hardware store and asked them for a 1/2 inch pipe plug. It cost me 57 cents all together. Pipe threaded bolts are different than regular bolts.

Message: Run a search on this because it has been made into a million threads. Go to Speedtweaks website and get all the info on their tips and tricks page. It's basically just lengthening the wires to the IAT sensor and putting it in a cooler place, rather than the hot intake.
