gas milage and a small increase in low end

Tested the PVI Injection

I have been researching Mike Golka, his company and
his Platinum Vapor Injection System for about 2 years.

I have seen many including the EPA take him to court
and try to disprove his claims and put him out of business
and none could disprove his claims and all lost there cases
against him.

How can he offer a 120 day (4 month) money back and
still remain in business if his system does not work.

All that being said I just had to test it for myself and see
if it would help, The results on 2 trucks, my 95 4X4 and a
customers 1996 2 wheel 3.9 Blew me away.

Bone stock 96 3.9, he was getting 19 to 20 mpg on the
highway. With the PVI system he is now pulling 22 23 mpg
on the highway and says it runs better and has more
power.

On my built 3.9 my best on the highway was 22.4 with an
overall average of 21.8 over 1,500 miles. With the PVI my
highway mileage went up to 24 with an overall average
over the next 1000 miles of 22.7. and my truck does seam
to have a little better low end.

The PVI takes about 20 min to install with a tee in the PCV
vacuum line. It has 3 chemicals in the glycol base

Platinum (removes carbon deposits)

Rhodium (raises octane from 3 to 5 points) same thing the
oil companies use in there fuel to raise octane.

Rhenium (lowers the flash off point of the fuel) making the burn
a little longer giving a little more push from every charge,
burning more of the fuel means less work for the converter
making them last longer and run cooler.

No I do not make any money from this or get a kick back
I am just letting all of you know what happened when we
tested them. They Worked

If anyone has any questions about the system they can
call toll free and talk with Mike or Herb at PVI International
or email Mike Golka directly.

mike.golka@pvitech.com

Toll Free: 1- 877- 537- 7427

After many conversations and corresponding with Mike I also
got him to agree that if anyone would like to try the system
and mentions J&J Auto he will give them a better price.

The basic unit with 3 vials of the chemicals good for 18,000
miles he sells for $189.95 Cad, which is $140 US if you
mention my shop $125. PVI-30000 is the basic unit.

I cant say this will work on all vehicles but it sure did
on the 2 we tested.

I have also informed Mike Golka of this post and asked
him to stop by and answer any questions you may have
about his system.

Good to see Larry has informed all you Dodge Dakota people about his experience with the PVI. It is nice to see independent thinkers like Larry do their own research and testing on products and not write everything off as snake oil. We all know there have been products out there that do not live up to their claims and the only true way to find out is to test them yourselves. I am going to apologize in advance for this long letter but I believe you need to know a few things about what we are trying to do. Our mission at PVI International is to help our customers save money while helping our environment. We do not have all the answers or have 100 % success with our products but who does? Heck we are trying to doing what our governments say they want, reduce the output of CO2 which means burn less gas....sounds great but the only problem is they have not figured out how to do that and collect the same tax dollars! If you do not believe that, why has the government controlled CAFE (corporate average fuel economy) ratings for passenger cars and light trucks stayed the same for over twenty years when we all no that the technology exists to improve it by 20% or more! Check out Bosch's Di-motronics direct fuel injection -20% better fuel economy and 5% more power. So why have we all been brainwashed that engines are 95-98% efficient and there is no way to improve fuel economy... maybe fuel sales, taxes, planned deteriation rates? Heck direct gasoline injection has been available since World War II. Did you know that a 1981 Dodge 1500 pickup is rated with better fuel economy than a 2002 Dodge 1500 pickup! 23.9 mpg vs 22.2 mpg. Of course the vehicles always get about 20% less than there rating but compare apples to apples and consider the difference in the two vehicles, no engine managment, no overdrive transmission, more weight, 15" tires not 17" less aerodynamic means only one thing. The engines are less effecient today than 20 years ago contrary to what you have been told by ndustry. There are vehicles made that get some great fuel economy numbers if you like driving a go-cart with a plastic shell. They did not exist 20 years ago. So if we can make reducing pollution and CO2 a profitable venture for the USER, everyone will do it. If not it is pretty hard for all of us to pay out money we don't have to help protect our environment. Make no mistake the vested interests do not have ALL the answers, there are a few of us who have cost-effective solutions and the vested interests are upset that they cannot control the rate of its release. The bottom line is we know that the average engine out their releases about 68% of the fuels energy in the engine and the rest is released by the converter and we have EPA tests that prove it!!! The experts and industry wants to have you believe that all or most of the gas burns in the engine. They state combustion efficiecy is around 95-98%. The efficiency of burning the gas or hydrocarbons in the engine to OTHER combustion products (CO-H2O-NOx-C). They are right we agree! But what they don't want you to know is that the CO carbon monoxide and those 2% of the unburned gas hold about 30% of the fuels energy that is not released until the cat. That is the reason no car manufacturer or oil company fund independent research on gasoline combustion only diesel. With all the excess air and high compression ratio's diesel does release all the fuels energy in the engine at the right time, when they are new of course. In gasoline, release some of this energy, at the right time and you can dramatically improve MPG and torque!!! Bosch of Germany has with Di-Motronics. Larry did with PVI. I wonder which one costs less and how available is DI-motronics to you?

P.S I have a news release that Daimler put out stating that for 700.00 they can improve fuel economy on your Dakota's by 20% and for 850 or so improve it by 25%. I will share the address once I locate it. More proof that you can improve fuel economy, the key is how cost effective is the modification!

P.S.S Communicating on your site is a great idea, keep up the good work!

I must have missed this post...

Nice observations Larry and thanks a lot Mike for posting. If I'm ever worrying about making my gas mileage a little better, I'll definitely keep PVI in mind.
