Besides my posting there are a lot of members
corresponding with me on a daily basis through
email and the subject of old hemis came up.
The one 1957 my brother Jerry bought when he
was 16 years old for $125 the second one I found
one day in Milwaukee for $75 we have had both
cars for about 30 years, His still runs very well.
They are both scheduled to be restored in about
2 years from now we just have to many lined up
to do before we get to these 2 cars.
Both have the 392 Chrysler Fire Power Hemi's
and Torqueflight A auto transmissions,
The 69 Road Runner you see there is just one of our
many parts cars and was rolled at 140mph it has
a 440 mag 4 speed and 3.94 suregrip rear gears.
believe it or not you can drop a battery in this
car start it and still move it around on its own
power
As I have stated many times we do mostly restoration
work and have around 30 parts cars mostly B Body
Mopar's on 40 acres about 5 miles from my house.
Here are the pics, my camera only cost $10 and is
not the best but for you guys that wanted to see
them here they are.
It may take a few minits for the pics to load

Message: Hey,
I've just got some quick questions. I was wondering is it possible to put and older hemi like a 331 or a 354 in a dakota 4x4. The thought had always been bouncing around in my head. Also do you know anything about the late 70's aspen rts. Cause there's one for sale just south of where i live. I think it has a 360 and a 4 speed.

Message: Don't know, I have never had these apart except
my brothers I rebuilt the trans in so I don't even
know if they will bolt to eiether the A or B RB
bellhousings.
I have a 400 with 383 forged crank and rods all
rebuilt in my garage on a motor stand that I was
goint to put in my Dak but because off the offset
to the right it will not fit.
If I was 2 wheel I could and still plan on someday
putting it in a 2 wheel Dak, I think it would be
a lot of fun to drive with a 330 hp motor.
Shumacher creative products does sell a kit with
the mounts and adapter to put them in a DAk 2
wheel only.
They have a pic of a DAk with a 440 on there site
