I just got this email from one of the dak members so please anyone
who exchanged emails with me in the last week or so check and
delete this, I was infected from his email

Unfortunately a virus has been passed on to me by contact. My address
book
was infected. Since you are in my address book there is a good chance
you will
find it in your computer too. My sincere apologies.
The virus (called jdbgmgr.exe) is not detected by Norton or McAfee. The
virus
sits quietly for 14 days before damaging the system. It is sent
automatically by
messenger and by the address book whether or not you sent email to your
contacts.
Here is how to check for the virus and get rid of it.
1. So to START on your main screen. FIND or SEARCH option
2. In the File folder option, type the name jdbgmgr.exe
3. Be sure to search your C drive and all subfolders and any other
drives you
have
4. Click "Find Now"
5. The virus has a teddy bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe. DO NOT
OPEN THE FILE
6. Go to EDIT on the menu bar and choose "Select All" to highlight the
file
without opening it
7. Go to FILE (on the menu bar) and select "DELETE". It will then go
into the
recycle bin
IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS YOU MUST CONTACT ALL THE PEOPLE
IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK.
To do this:
a. Open a new e-mail message
b. Click the icon on the address book
c. Highlight every name and add to "BBC" (which means blind copy)
d. Copy this message and paste to e-mail
I have followed these directions sent by someone to me and was able to
easily
delete the virus. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Nice still trying to make me look like a fool
As the plot thickens to destroy me at every corner
I just got 3 more emails telling me the same thing
form people I have never herd of and another Dak
member, It would seam they are targeting us here
on this board. Or just me???
Well at least I did not send it to everyone in my address
book as it tells you.
I have never had some much Bull $hit happen to me
as I have had in the last few days and have been on
the net since 1997 when I bought my first computer.
I paid $3500 and still have that computer and it still
works but I bought a new one again 2 years ago
and just started using it this year.
I need to find out who is doing this $hit to me and
who ever it is take heed because my Dak is
capable of cursing anywhere in the united states to
personally KICK YOUR A$$ and trust me I have
the time and the resources to do it and will
SO KNOCK IT OFF YA LITTLE PUNK

Just thought of something
Who ever it is, is probably sitting back and laughing
at me right now
I know there are some nut cases out there but why
me of all people, that I cant understand, I have done
nothing but help people all my life.
To this day if anyone even gets stuck around here
they walk to my house even at 3 4am in the morn
and I get up and go pull them out of mud holes
ditch's and snow banks, give them rides home
when they blow up there vehicles
That may seam funny but its true, I live in a national
forest right at the edge of a wilderness area where
people like to go 4 wheeling and it happens all the
time.
During the winter months is when it happens most
probably because they know me and know I will
crawl out of bed and go help them. A lot of times
they are so drunk they can hardly stand up than
I get there vehicles in my yard and take them home
Now you might think I am making this up but I will
swear on a stack of bibles and may I be struck by
lighting if I am not telling the truth, Its true I am the
only house within 5 miles

I never open any files, I know that much.
It would seam they are not ready to give up I
just deleted over 100 emails that flooded my box.
I have contacted the administrator at my ISP and
they are tracking all emails coming to my box
this guy will be caught and stoped.
Luckaly I know Jesse and called him at home about
this.
I guess someone just don't like me Oh Well
I have been posting here for a while and never had
any probs untill this week so it has to be someone
doing it not this site but a person

I have realized that most of my junk mail comes redirected through this DodgeDakotas.com site. Some "spam marketing" group has software that "captures our email address" and sends us TONS of SPAM.
I know this to be a FACT. A company in our building does just this sort of "capture marketing" as a living. 100% of their business is visiting forums, chatrooms, web links, etc ... capturing the email addresses and then spamming those individuals.
Sorry, but there is nothing you can do unless you keep your Email Address private.

The unfortunate demise of this site and this type of crap that people do is how we lost some great members a while ago. This site has always been full of people needing attention or whatever. I think it is great that people like you and others with great knowledge help us out who do not have a clue. Weather a post applies to me or not you never know what info will help in the future.
I would not think twice about taking it personal, it is not worth it. You can tell that people do appriciate what you do so keep it up.

I had a friend send that to me telling me to delete it from my computer because she got the same email you did.But that was about a month or so ago.And i deleted it from my computer but i was talking to a few tech people from AOL at the time and they told me after i did it that it was a fake and i needed it on my computer.Now microsoft stuff on my computer know longer works.Do you know how i would get it back?I didnt notice that i couldnt use that stuff till a few days ago.Thanks
