Subject: Side mirror broke IP: Logged
Message: Anyone know how to go about repairing a crack side mirror, and also the up and down doesn't work.
I can hear the electric motor run and the mirror jerks like it's trying to move.
I had the windows out when I tinted them, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get inside of the mirror to repair it.
Hayes manual doesn't tell either.

Message: You are probably going to have to replace it, you
need to remove the peice that covers the mirror
inside the truck and maybe the door panel to
get at the mounting bolts depending on what year
the truck is.
Than just unplug the wires, maybe when its off
you could check it out, the mirror is just glued
to the base with a silocon you could get one cut
to fit for about $30 at a glass company
Try and find one at a bone yard a new one will not
be cheap $100 to $200 for an electric one
