Subject: Gutting the cat? IP: Logged
Message: What kind of performance gains will i get if i
gut the cat on my 94 3.9 dak? I did hear that if
u gut the cat or get true duals then u will lose
back pressure and that means not as much
low-end torque....can some one tell me the
pros&cons to this situation and tell me
whether or not it is worth it?
Thanx!

be a little louader.
No I can't spell never could
The only reason to gut the cat is if it fell
apart and is pluged.

First write your post on outlook express or word, run the spell checker the copy & paste it to the forum. That's what I do.
Of course then we wouldn't have anything to give you sh!t about.

Message: Yes you would see a drop in both milage and
performance with a pluged cat. I have seen them
pluged so bad the engine would not rev up and
the heat back up and melt the EGR
A bad O2 would also knock your milage down.
