 Subject: Sound in the steering wheel.

I just bought a 2001 dak quad cab. After a week I am getting a creaking sound in the steering wheel when I turn. That and the steering wheel is a bit shaky when I brake. Could this just be the rotors need replacing?

the creaking is the clockspring. there is a recall on it from dodge. mine is doing it also and it needs to go get fixed.

There is no recall on this, there is however a TSB.
