Probably to late to post this, but code 12 is not a trouble code.....it means beginning of diagnostics.....and 55 means end of diagnostics.....actual trouble codes follow after the 12.

idles ruff when i'm drivin it it will surge forward like it got a bunch of gas all a once.i changed the tps it didn't help i replace plugs and wires, when i pull the plug wires off the plugs while truck is running the 3 on the drivers side drag down but when i do the other side nothing happens please help

I have a 89 dodge dakota 6cyl i aint realy
having problems with it but i have some
questions: when i start my truck i have to hold
the gas becuz if i dont it will get to the point
where it wont start aslongest i hold the gas
just clicks
When i bought it the guy told me it was cold
blooded but i still havent figured that out!!!!
Any suggestion

I HAVE A 89 DAKOTA 4 CYLINDER WITH A 5 SPEED MAN
TRANS. I CHANGED THE THROW OUT BEARING, REAR MAIN
SEAL & CLUTCH PLATE. IT SEEMS TO STILL MAKE A RATTLING SOUND IN 1ST, 2ND,& 3RD LIKE A BEARING IS
BAD AND I HAVE TROUBLE CODES 12, 33, 55 CAN YOU HELP

1989 Dakota 3.9l will stall occasionally at idle or coming off idle. New cap, rotor, wires and plugs. Could it be fuel pump? Runs well otherwise.
