Subject: Check Engine light IP: Logged
Message: i've got the check engine light on my '98 Dak Sport and from what i've found from another site, it's the speed sensor that's on the trans and not at the diff. on another board a while back, i was told i could probably remove it and clean it good and correct the problem. anyone know about this?? if i have to replace it, how will the light reset?? is it blatantly obvious what this thing looks like? any special tools needed?? any hints, tips, secrets???
sorry if this archived elsewhere but i'm running down to the wire......inspection is due next month and i've got to have this fixed.
anyone in the Acworth/Kennesaw, GA area and know what to do??
thanks for trouble.
