 Subject: TWO gaskets to change trans fluid/filter

I have a 99 dakota 3.9 V6 Mag and I was going to change the trans. fluid and filter but when I went to autozone to purchase the filter I noticed there were two gaskets? One for the pan and the other for.........THE FILTER? Is this right.

you only use one gasket,the filter fits fits big and small auto tranny's,thats y you have 2 gaskets,you will need the small gasket
