you can get a new one at the dealer for $180.

the TB can come from any "magnum" engine 5.2/5.9 RAM, VAN or Dakota just has to be 97+ for it to work on your "97"
"BUT" the TB cable has to come from a Dakota the others are different

I got simular questions too.
I got a '03 dak i shouldn't have any problems with a V8 TB from a 97+ Dak as long as i got the cable, right?

These sell for $90+ shipping. New TB gasket included. Just swap your stock sensors and TB bracket over, and you are all set to go. You'll need a V8 Dakota Throttle Cable as well, and I sell those for $34 shipped.
