 Subject: clean air filter..?

I have a 93 3.9L V6 and was wondering what i should clean regarding the air filter/intake. I have the stock filter that says..DODGE MAGNUM on it. Should i just unscrew the bolt on the top of that and take a vacum and blow it all out and what about the pipe leading into it?? Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Just take it off and check it, if its dirty clean
it but if you have a paper filter replace it
Don't clean a paper filter throw it away or
get a K&N drop in replacement for a little better
flow.
