 Subject: 88' Dak Sport Guage swap???

ok heres the story i have an '88 Dak Sport 5 speed. A buddy of mine has a 94 automatic Dak. yet his guages has a tachometer on them and mine dont. we want to switch! now is there alot of complications in this? is it possible? and would i have to take it to a dealer to change the odometer??? any advice let me know.....

I think the 94 still had the speedo cable, I know
the 94 ram's still had it and the gages should be
the same but you may need to run a wire for the tach.
Or just put the tach into your insterment cluster
and wire it.
Light's (dash lights)
signal wire (- minus side of coil)
ground
No you don't need to have a dealer change the
milage they are not digital.
