Message: The last time I had "bubbles" on my dipstick, she charged me 20 bucks. J/k.
Actually, the last time I noticed this, my valve body and governor pressure solenoid had to be replaced in my trans, around 200 bucks worth of work I think. I would check you codes, and look for any P17xx codes, these point to tranny. I might not hurt to do a filter and fluid change. This is also a good time to install a shift kit like from Transgo. I didn't put a kit in and now regret it. Does your fluid look burnt? (dark red almost brownish tint) If so, I'd do a change as soon as I could to avoid some costly replament parts. Hope this helps..

Message: Bubbles in the transmission fluid could mean that you have too much fluid in the tranny. How many miles are on it? If you aren't having any shifting problems, I'd change the fluid and filter, and not overfill it.

Message: No dealer intervention, and ripoff rewuired. You can check the codes yourself. There are sites that explain these codes, or call your local parts house.
Here is another cool trick I learned.
Push and hold down your trip (odometer) button, and then turn your key to the "on" position(do not start it)
What this does is test all of your lights and gauges. The gauge test is the best part especially when your tach and speedo move on their own. Sorry I know that was unrelated but I thought it was cool.
