i got a 2000 dak sport 3.9 auto with flowmaster and k & n and my friend has a 91 jimmy 4.3 auto. what do you think my odds are and what parts should i get for some more power?

I think maybe you'll have him. I dont think the 4.3 got fast til it became vortec in 93.

the vortec didint become fast untill 96 in the 2wd versions (180 hp)

Drop a V8 or aftermarket throttle body and a set
of crower 1.7's and you will feel some nice gain's
