i have a black 2000 sport 3.9 auto. i have flowmaster, and k& n. i was wondering what some other parts i should get to help pick up power and speed. does anyone know if the tornado works for the dak? I was also wonderin how much u get from a chip or programmer. let me know which parts give the best hp for price. thanks guys

concensus around here seems to be either a V8 tb or aftermarket TB from Fastman or F & B. i am probably gonna go with a fastman modified TB for my '00 QC 3.9 5spd. need all the help I can get. you can also search the archives for other mods too. lots of info here & good luck.

tornado does not work, try some headers from JBA headers. Gibson exhaust might have some for the 239 , but last i checked they didn't. 180 degree thermostat, cheap and works.

dont waste ur cash onthat tornado junk! your best bet would be to swap in a v8 throttle body and a set of 1.7 roller rockers. also u should relocate your Air intake temp sensor (ait) to your cold air intake. those would give you the best power for ur money. if you really need a chip you can get the ase or super chips tuner. both are good but i think the super chip may be alittle better becuase it can be used to run diagnostics, if im wrong on that sum 1 correct me. dont waste your time with the headers right now it would be a wate of your time and cash, it wont help you that much untill you get more mods onto your truck

Hypertech Power programmer III also works with the 3.9,its not listed on their website ,but you can email them about it.
