Message: I've been searching the posts for any answer to this problem but haven't found one. I have a 3.9L 2001 SLT, and upon initial acceleration from rest there is a clicking noise coming from somewhere in the drivetrain. That's the only time it happens, and my first thought was the trans. Has anyone actually solved this problem? I'm going to check out the heat shields suggestion tonite. Thanks in advance for any help!
