Subject: v6 starting trouble IP: Logged
Message: Hey all,
I've got a 98 3.9l with an aftermarket intake kit. Yesterday i drove the truck to and from work without problem then when i go to start it up late that night the car can't hold an idle, it will start up and then die immediately. I've tried giving it some gas as it starts but that only raises the rpm and the engine still dies as soon as i take my foot off. Any ideas as to what's going on with this?
Thanks,
Hap

Message: Check your fuel presure 45 to 49 lbs and
should hold the presure for a few hours.
Could be a lot of things like a IAC Idle Air
Control selinoid not reacting fast enough.
Do you hear a lot of air moving but starving for
fuel
