I have a intermitting popping from the TB when first starting out. Some times two or three pops, and some times four or five in a row with vary little power. Get to about 25-30 MPH and it straightens out and runs fine. But it doesn't do it every time.
It has new wires plugs cap rotor one new injector with the rest cleaned. I don't know RPM cause tach stoped working.
Thanks for any info.

check your t-cahin and timing. If its not those there is a sensor thats not working. TB sensor and mass would be a good place to start.

I have put 5000mi on this Dak with 102,ooo on Od. After reading several other post and listening (broom handle) all is queit at T/C. Cleaned sencer at base of T/B with no difference. Where would I find the mass sencer? I'm fixin to make a 1800 mile run from Tx. to Wy. and would hate to have a break down!!Thanks for any info.

Be careful not to use any of that spray throttle body cleaner inside the butterfly valves. That could eat away at your belly pan gasket... what a job that was! :-(

I keep losing the radio in my 94 Dakota, it will work fine for 6 months then just quit for a few months than start working again. Its driving me crazy and always happens right before a long trip. So I have to drive in silence. HELP
