Subject: troubleshooting gen 1 IP: Logged
Message: ok i have a 90dak with a 3.9 and i just bout a new ecm for it i was wondering what are the possible causis of a code 11 no crank refrence i already replaced the hallefect sensor and timed the distributor but all im getting is inttermintent start and it wont run longer than a few minuts ne help with this matter will be greatly appreiciated

Message: sounds like a bad ground through the ECM... This could cause a complete ECM fail ne ways. See if you have a bad ground sometimes an ECM will try and ground through the hot wires.
There might also be a problem with your pickup. This is a lil thing at the bottom of the distib.
A bad coil is also possible.... Make sure you coil is not hooked up backwards.

Message: would that cause a intemintent start amd constantly running for a set time say 30-45 seconds because it will start occasionaly and run a littl bit then just shut off
