Message:
I am working on a 94' Dakota with a V-6 and can not seem to find the answer. I have a wiring diagram, but it does not show any kind of relay. I have checked the 30a fuse #1 and it was good. The diagram shows that 12v goes straight to the blower motor with the ignition in the on position. The ground comes from the control panel then goes through the resistor block to the motor. The ground is ok, but not the 12v part of the circuit. I can jumper 12v to the hot side of the connector with the ground side still hooked up and it will work. I have a 50a fuse under the hood marked blower that is good, but it is not on my diagram. Any help would be great. I may have a burnt wire or something.
Thanks JohnT

Sounds like a broken wire somewhere. You can play around with a test light and tray and trakc down the exact spot where it's broken or sometimes i will just cut the wire up near the junction block where i know i have power and run a brand new wire right to the component.

Did you check to see if your controls are working? You know that lil thing that you move up and down to make the blower come on.

i found my problem. it was the connector to the resistor coil. it is on the passenger side on the firewall in the engine compartment. i don't think that is your problem though. my problem was i wasn't getting any amps. i was getting voltage.
