Just picked up my new '03 Quad Dakaota SXT (my 92 Dak wanted company) and driving home from the dealership, maybe 12 miles out and the whole thing just shuts down. Dead. So I call the Dodge road side assistance and get towed back to the dealer.
New record: with only 18 miles on the odometer, I managed to need the roadside assistance number.
Turned out that they wired the power windows wrong, all kinds of stuff shorted out...ignition switch, side mirrors, main fuse, headlights, etc.
Not the kind of record I wanted.

Has the 92 ever let you down? My hasnt in the 20k miles Ive driven it. It has 138k on it. Even when the starter messed up, it would still crank after a little time. Sounds like they dont make em like they used too!

Agreed, my 87 is still on the road with 320K, my 88LE has 200K, and my 91 has 148 or something.

My 92 still runs strong with 125K. Replaced most of the small stuff (sensors, etc.) but engine/tranny are original. I would marry it if I could.

My '93 Dak holds the record for Most times Towed back to the Garage.
At least we use a Dodge wrecker also.

Hey JaxRick, you beat my record of 34 miles. I got home the night I bought it and pulling in the driveway (cranking the wheel all the way) the power steering pump blew the hose off. Turns out they put the wrong pump in it . . . or so they said.
They fixed it but (being that I was at home) I didn't need the Roadside assistance number as you did.

Funny HAHAHA likes to make fun of the hypathetical things that happen....last night my friends 97' s10 the one that beat me...just a fluke...blew 2 hoses....one for the power steering and one for radiator....SO WHAT there hoses...LOa chevy bboard and make L but i dont go to a chevy board and make fun of there crap....most likely HAHAHAHA is just a fukin loser thats 12 yrs old and has no maturity whatsoever!
