Why does everyone get so defensive when the notion of veganism is brough up? It's simply a personal decision one makes, much like any other decisions made in life. I would never bag on any of you for eating what you want, so please try not to make me feel unwelcome because I choose a different diet and set of ethics than others.
I love this forum, and talking about trucks...This is hands down the best place on the web for great Dak info.
BTW, I think the idea of her changing her name is silly at best...

Im not "bagging" on a vegetarian. But the ones who throw paint on fur, picket slaughter houses, and say we omnivores are inhumane kinds stirs it up. Eat what you want, I eat what I want, and everyone else does what they want and we are all happy. We look at you people like "the lady who sues because her coffee was too hot" or "hunting is murder of a poor animal"
All Im trying to say is God put everything on Earth for us, and we can use it as we please. If you wanna drive a Ferrari or old musclecar that gets 5mpg then go ahead. Noone should b!tch them out and tell them how impractical and bad for the environment it is. Be cool and be happy.

I agree as well, my friend. No one likes to be told what to do. I am not one of those that believes it ok to assault/harass others for their beliefs/choices.
Sometimes those people give anyone who has adopted a vegan diet a bad name, and it gets old listening to all those against it. I agree we are all entitled to our opinions/ideas/and ethics.

I suggest that you sponsor a vegetarian, that for everytime they dont eat meat, you eat 3 times as much, so not only are you making up for them but your eating more meat because of them.
