i have a buddy that builds race engines. he told me that the best kind of oil to use in any engine in florida was valvoline 20w-50.i went ahead and used synthetic.what do u guys think?

If you live in a hot place like that 20 50 will
work fine,
Your presure will stay a little higher than a
thinner oil 5 30 10 30 with higher presure you
have better protection on your bearings.
