My truck is pretty weak and im kinda interested in some n2o but i dont know much about it. Like can you keep it ready to go for a long period of time or only when your going to use it? How much hp does it give? You can only do it once? How much are refills? And most importantly, is it recommended to someone who isnt too familiar with it? Thanks.

It is prefectly safe at low power levels and it is relatively inexpensive, about $4 per pound. A 10 pound tank will give you enough for about 7 or 8 1/4 mile runs depending on the size of your jets. Do a search for it on this site, there are literally thousands of posts about it.
