 Subject: Fiberglass Hoods

Just a quick question guys. I've heard that fiberglass hoods shrink in size causing the gaps on the edges of the hoods to increase. Is there any truth to this??? I'm about to get a Cervini's fiberglass hood and i would really like to know this before i spend the $439. Thanks in advance.

my brother has had a lift off fiberglass cowl hood on his 79 Z28 for well over a year now and i havn't noticed a difference...plus my parents have a fiberglass hood on their 2001 Z28 and it hasn't shrunk..the new camaro has all fiberglass body parts from the factory except the quarters and the hood...don't think those cars shrink!
