Message: You need to put a few hundred miles on the truck
and let the computer trim the injectors back.
You are probably running rich if this is a stock
set up and it takes time for the computer to
readjust the fuel curve with the new injectors.
Which injectors did you put in.

Message: I got the blueprinted 19lb injectors from fiveo, I put them in last night but havnt run the truck yet because I'm doing the timing chain too. The battery has been disconnected for a little over 24hrs now. Should I still open the ign switch? I assume the PCM would reset itself when I hook the battery back up.

Message: I am also running the 19#FMS injectors from Bruce
over at fivo motorsports.
I got a smother idle, better midrange and 1 mpg
increase, they will give you smother performance
all across the board,
We use all FMS injectors for replacements on
the dodge trucks, and they are a lot cheaper
than the junk factory units with 1 hole and
only matched within 15% the FMS are 2%
Ya even if you don't reset the computer will
learn the injectors in a couple 100 miles. But
I would say after 24 hours the capacitors
would be drained and you are reset.
