Message: Hey, I was working on the Jet SKI with some two part epoxy and fiberglass matting and had a idea. Tell me what you think.
Glue a couple of styrofome insulation together to make a one foot square. take a hacksaw and some sandpaper and cut down the foam to look like an airhat of your own design. You can make it any heigth, width or make the inlet any size you want.
Next saturate the fiberglass in the epoxy and completly cover your foam airhat.
Now, hacksaw about an eigth inch off the inlet to show the styrofoam, and dig as much as you can out, the pour gasoline in there and shake very hard(The gas will eat away all the styrofoam very fast)
Finally, cut out the 5 inch hole in the bottom with the dremel, drill the hole in the top for your s-bolt and paint pretty.
Well, thats my idea, I think that would look good, be very easy and cheap. It would prolly take about an hour and a half too.

Message: Yeah, for a custom CAI. I don't think that the heat would melt fiberglass, so i think it would be pretty nice.

Message: yeah thats crazy alright .to do it right it,ll take ya about 8 hrs over a couple a days
TIP fibreglass resin melts foam fast so your
mold will be deformed when it cures
took me about 3weeks to make a fibreglass 4"
cai tube that i dont use all the time cos i
think it kills my bottom end
