Message: They do NOTHING! If anything they restrict airflow. Same goes with the Poweraid Throttle Body spacer. Both crap!

Message: I beg to differ. I installed one of those on my 98 3.9l 2wd club cab and i instantly noticed power gain when accelerating from a stop and it holds nicely through all gears. I think it is one of the best investments for fuel economy next to my k&n drop in filter and throttle body spacer without spending much money. I can see why it would make a decent horsepower increase since swirls the air coming into the intake manifold for better fuel and air atomization. I really think you guys don't know what your talking about, you should claim something without actually trying it and proving it yourselves. I proved it worked and i'm willing to bet money on it.

Message: When I was in college I worked part time in a machine shop. A professor of mine rented the back room of the shop to set up an engine dyno. He ran a number of engines, carburetors, NOS systems, blowers, turbos, as well as fuel atomizers, fuel magnets, intake contraptions (including the tornado designs), fuel treatments, air filters, etc... His synopsis to me when I would check in with him was that none of the devices that "atomized" or "magnitized" the fuel as well as "smoothed" the air flow had no significant change when comparing dyno results.
I have to admit that I fooled myself for years when adding performance parts that the "butt dyno" said it was better. Now, if I'm going to plunk down $$ for a performance or economy part, I want proven dyno results from a reputable and third party source.
My advice: spend your money elsewhere.
