Message: After you remove the clutch fan you need to
install an elec fan with a thermo switch.
At least 2400 to 2800 cfm

Message: Yank the spinning boat anchor and throw in a decent electric fan (with a thermo switch)
I got a Flex-A-Lite Black Magic 150 in my '98 3.9l stock Dak.

I've had Baby here in Hawaii for over 5 years, running mostly city mileage (not much of an interstate to open her up on).
I had issues before with the clutch fan malfunctioning and engaging at the wrong times (robbing me of power, revving the engine harder than necessary to get from stopped to 2nd).
My engine runs NO HOTTER than 185. Regardless of the day's temperature or driving conditions.
The mounting stuff that comes with won't fit, so the shop had to improvise the lower bracket. No worries, it is running beautifully.
