WOW! is all I have to say.
I had a shop install a univeral cat, and take out my other 3 cat's (that's a long story, but for some reason, someone welded in 3 cat convertors) and now I just have 2 1/2 (I believe, I'm drawing a blank, it might be 3") from the Y pipe to the cat, and then I have my dynomax cat back exhaust.
It sounds sweet now! I have so much more power then I did with all of those convertors.
although I'm worried about the noise, has anyone been given crap about their truck being too loud? if so where are you from?? I'm in Maine, and I can think of a lot of trucks that are louder then mine, but, you know. just wanting to be safe.
I can't get over how much power those cataylic convertors rob.
thats my story.
I do have one question. are universal cat's about $200?? because that's what the place charged me. it wasn't the dealership, just a "family friend" place.
