i've got a 2003 4x4 with the v-6 in her and noticed yesterday that the belt is starting to shred. Upon looking closer the outside EDGE is riding outside the AC pully. It could not fit inside if it wanted to. Is this the correct position for the belt??? Thanks.

I don't believe that is normal and i'm figuring that's also the reason why your belt is starting to shed. Are you sure it won't fit, even when you take the tension off the belt and work it a lil?

No-It seems to be about 1/8 inch to wide.But only on the AC pulley

Sounds like a misaligned pulley or pulleys.
