I have a 2002 dakota v6. It is running rough, knocking, makes funny noise when put into reverse.
It only has 24 000km on it the dealer has put 3 sets of hydrolic lifters in it, replaced the motor reworked the trany cables. I have no clue what to get them to fix next. I was woundering if it could be the computer does anyone have any Ideas?

Not sure what is going on there.
I can tell you though, in regards to the noise putting the truck in reverse, I bought mine brand new in August 2002, whenever I would put it in reverse and step on the gas significantly, I was getting a mellow hum from right under the middle of the cab in the front, it ended up being that the transmission stick tube was set too far into the tranny and rubbing under a load, they fixed that and no noises since. Not sure what sound your reverse is giving you, but if what I described is it, try that.
