Message: I have a fuel injector for a '97 Dakota, 3.9L engine. One o-ring is scuffed but a #203 Viton o-ring will bring it back into shape. I replaced it some time back because I didn't realize I could get a replacement o-ring.

Message: On the O-Rings
You can go to auto zone and get a set for a 5.0
mustang same thing and cheap insurance when you
pull them out, replace the rings and
put a light coat of oil on them to insure a
good seal

Message: LOL...wish I had known that when I was replacing the plenum gasket and pulled the o-rings. I didn't lube the o-rings when I reinstalled them and ended up buying a new injector because I barked up the surface of one when I inserted them into the intake manifold bore. All in all it was a lesson...not too expensive but a lesson to learn. Hindsight is 20/20. Thanks for the info.
