Subject: Spark plug wires... IP: Logged
Message: I bought some lifetime warranty wires from Autozone today. And I noticed that some of the factory wires had plastic sleeves over them, the ones near the manifold. Would it be a good idea to put this on all of the plug wires? Or is there something that I can put on to protect the wires from heat and rubbing?

Message: You really don't need anything on them just be
sure you use the wire loom's and they are not
touching the Exh manifold anywhere.
I use the MSD 8.5 super conductor wires with MSD
6a and MSD SS Blaster coil.

Message: Yes I put a radio shack thermo sensor on the
air cleaner 1 day and over 50 it drops to
outside temp at 40 about 20 above.
But I also have a hood scoop, its a K&N 14X3 with
a K&N Exstream 14" top with a 10X12 hole in the
hood
