Message: I'm interest in changing my stock wheels on my 95 Dakota which has 30X9.5x15 Cooper Tires on it. I want 31X10.5 tires on new wheels. Do I need 15X8 wheels or what size will work. Will the old tires fit on the new wheels until the tread wears out? The wheels are what I'm mainly interested in. With our 6X4.5 bolt pattern I'm not finding that many companys stock the wheels I like, at least not on their site catalogs. So what manufacturers carry our bolt pattern in a design like the Mickey Thoompson Classic II or similar.

Message: You can put 31X10.50's on 15X7 rims. My buddy in Cali has that set up. The bigger tires would look better on a set of 15X8 rims but the other rims would work. I have a set of the stock 15X8 rims off of a 2000 if you are interested. If stock is not what your interested in then go to tire.com or tirerack.com They have programs that will let you see what rims that are available will look like on your truck.
